Today, you woke up, and the same like the last 12,052 days, you have another chance to do better.

Every day is a fresh slate.

You have the chance to choose your goals, make progress in the right direction, and be a better person than you were prior.

Do this every day, and you will continue to improve in every aspect of your life.

The problem with goal setting

At the beginning of each year, millions of people around the world set their New Year's Resolutions.

They start the year off with a bang, and things are looking and feeling great!

“This year is mine!”

And then, each year, a few days later, millions of people around the world start to make exceptions to the resolutions they set.

Within no time, they are back at where they started, only to go another 350 days before they realize they should have stuck to their goals.

This is largely the problem with most goal-setting.

We set goals, work on them for a bit, and then slowly forget. This is why most people fall short of their life goals in general.

Let me tell you how you should be doing it!

Today, you have a choice

Life operates in days. At the end of each day, you rest, you reset, and then you wake up ready to go again.

That’s why most people don’t work out more than once a day. That’s why most people don’t go to work, and then go back to the same job later (so on).

Each day, when you reset, you have a choice…

Will today be the day you once again commit to whatever goals you set? Or will today be the day you let yourself break your commitments?

It’s as simple as that.

You’ve been told that to reach your goals, you also need a plan. You have to map out exactly what you’ll do to get there.

I mean, yes, that is true…

But what really matters is remaking the exact same commitment every single time you wake up.

Who do you want to be?

The person who woke up and chose to fail?

Or the person who woke up and chose to be better?

Force yourself to make the right decision every single morning.

This is life

Don’t overcomplicate your life. It is a lot simpler than you realize.

Today is all you’ve got. Tomorrow might not be here, and the day after that is even more unlikely.

You need to make the decision every day to be the person you want to be. Tomorrow you might not have that chance.

Make the best of it. Maximize your potential!

Simple!
