What is it about?

This book is about mindfulness. It teaches you some practical approaches to help you incorporate mindfulness into your life. It helps give you (in a very easy-to-understand way) processes, step by step, at a very approachable level.

My favourite parts

I’m a big fan of trying random mindfulness practices, meditations, or anything in that realm. This book had a few of those which I enjoyed.

For example, he talks about the “I Am” process. To understand who you are, he asks you to simply fill in the blank words to complete a few statements. This helps you understand how you view yourself and your life. This is likely to be very eye-opening for many, even if simple.

I also enjoy how he addresses limited beliefs. This is a very talked-about topic these days, and one that, no matter how much you hear about it, can be difficult to execute on. He approaches this common problem in a great way.

Who should read it?

This book will be of use to anyone who wants to connect with themselves in a more positive manner. If you’re hard on yourself or feel lost, you’ll find use in it.

Additional thoughts

I found this to be a great way to end the year. It was easy to read, a good refresher, and a bit of a new approach to some commonly talked about mindfulness concepts.
